Terms & Disclaimer
Last updated: March 22, 2026
By accessing and using TimeMath ("we," "us," or "our") at timemath.net, you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
For Educational Purposes Only
TimeMath provides free, browser-based time, date, and timezone tools for educational and informational purposes only. All results are generated by standard date-time algorithms based on the inputs you provide. They do not constitute professional advice, legal opinions, or guarantees of accuracy for any specific purpose.
Not Professional Advice
Nothing on TimeMath constitutes legal, payroll, scheduling, or compliance advice. We are not attorneys, accountants, HR professionals, or certified timekeepers. Our tools perform general-purpose time calculations that may not account for jurisdiction-specific rules, collective bargaining agreements, employer policies, or regulatory requirements.
Before relying on any calculation for business-critical decisions — including payroll processing, legal filing deadlines, travel itineraries, or contractual obligations — verify the results against authoritative sources appropriate to your situation.
Limitations of Calculator Results
Calculator results are based on standard algorithms and the browser's IANA timezone database. Actual results may differ due to factors our tools cannot account for, including but not limited to:
- Recent government changes to timezone offsets or DST rules that have not yet propagated to your browser
- Historical timezone data for dates before the IANA database's coverage
- Local holidays, which vary by country, state, and municipality
- Leap seconds, which are not tracked by JavaScript's Date object
- Organization-specific rules for business days, work hours, or overtime calculation
- Differences between calendar systems (Gregorian vs. other calendars)
Timezone Data
Timezone conversions rely on the IANA Time Zone Database as implemented by your browser's Intl API. While this database is regularly updated, there can be a delay between a government announcing a timezone or DST change and that change appearing in browser updates. We make reasonable efforts to document known discrepancies, but we cannot guarantee that all timezone data reflects the very latest changes worldwide.
No Endorsement
TimeMath does not endorse, recommend, or promote any specific software, service, employer, or scheduling platform. References to programming languages, date-time libraries, or industry standards are for educational comparison only.
Privacy
All calculations run entirely in your browser. We do not collect, store, or transmit any data you enter into our tools. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

All content on TimeMath — including text, tools, code, design, and graphics — is owned by TimeMath and protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You may use our tools for personal and professional purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.
Third-Party Links
TimeMath may contain links to third-party websites for reference or additional information. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the content or practices of any third-party sites.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TimeMath and its owners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) our tools or content. This includes, without limitation, damages from inaccurate calculations, missed deadlines, scheduling errors, or decisions made in reliance on our tools. You use this site and its tools entirely at your own risk.

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of TimeMath after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
